One or more water filters are a good thing, but only being installed correctly and in the right order. There is no use for a chlorine filter if it is blocked with sand all the time...
But the most important is the cleaning and maintenance of filters. A lot of filters are spent after some months and not functioning anymore. Far from it! Germs and bacterium now concentrate there and the filter that should improve the water quality contaminates the potable water.
